As a certified and highly experienced POSH Consultant, I support organizations in preventing and addressing sexual harassment, ensuring compliance and cultivating a respectful workplace culture.
I serve on corporate Internal Compliance Committees as an external member, per the requirements of legislation and laws. I work with several corporate investigative ICs for Sexual Harassment in the Workplace. My experience includes assisting with cases that have been very complex and challenging. I am well versed in the POSH Act, due diligence, investigation procedures, creating content for training sessions for ICs on awareness of Sexual Harassment in specific areas of methodology of investigations, redressal and sensitivity. I hold a PG certification in the subject from the NUJS (National University ofJuridical Studies, India). Current and recent clients include Persistent Systems, BP, HSBC, Barclays, UBS, KPIT, Allianz and Synechron in Pune and their branches in India. I work on a 1-3 year contract basis. Additionally, with special interest in DE&I (diversity, equality and Inclusion) I have both experience and expertise in handling cases which include all genders and the LGBTQAI+ population, and in training Internal Committees and Anti harassment Committees that are aiming to be unbiased and inclusive. I am a Consultant Psychologist and Psychotherapist with 30+ years of experience, and this aspect adds immense value to my work as an external IC consultant.
Attending all investigation meetings offline and online, training IC bi-annually, supporting policy and content creation for corporate POSH, supporting and guiding the PO and IC team during the investigation and while finalising reports
I normally take up cases only for the organizations I have annual contractual agreements with. In case of a per-case situation, I could accept a case wherein I could offer a 3-month contract from the start of a complaint to it's closure. Ground and air transportation and a safe hotel stay (if physical presence is needed) would be the responsibilty of the organization requesting the above; the agreed-upon rate would be the same for online presence. The rate is exclusive of TDS.
