As an External Member, I will: Advise the ICC on equitable, impartial and objective enquiries. Advise the organization on establishing the compliance infrastructure like drafting the POSH policy for the organisation Facilitate understanding of the organisations internal members who are not equipped with the industry practices and the overall aspect of adhering to the POSH Act, 2013 Add a degree of objectivity and external insight to the ICC's work and assures the plaintiff of an inquiry process that is objective, impartial and not affected by the employer's potential pressures. Earn the employees ' trust and trust and should be accessed by the employees without hesitation. Will not hush the grievances and put them under the carpet. Be available for the ICC meetings Help in drafting the Annual Report of the ICC Ensure healthy and comfortable workplace and ensure that workplace harmony is restored in case of sexual harassment incidents.

Be present for inquiries after being intimated at the earliest Be totally involved with all the ICC proceedings Make sure that the proceedings are happening per the principles of natural justice. Make efforts to co-ordinate the functioning of other ICC members. Make sure that the complaint is heard in an impartial manner without bias or prejudice. Ensure the implementation of law as per the procedures established.
