I am presently working as an in-house lawyer. I have drafted company's internal policy against sexual harassment and am responsible to make sure that the policy has been strictly adhered to by the employees.
My work also revolves around managing company's online platform on law SoOLEGAL (https://www.soolegal.com/). The platform helps people from across the country and globe , seek legal help from expert lawyers, self-listed to the platform. I am involved in providing legal consultations and aid to people coming in through the portal in search of legal recourses against discrimination on the basis of sex at work place or sexual harassment of work place. The clients coming in , belong to all genders , unfortunately facing unfairness at top tier companies and law firms. I have hosted and moderated several webinars on issues such as Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019: Duties of family, educational institutions & employers and Global Pandemic of Domestic Violence: Best Practices & Legal Solutions for Organizations and Survivors in affiliation with POSH at Work (PAW - www.poshatwork.com) a firm that super specializes on the Indian law against sexual harassment at workplace. Further, apart from drafting the policy against sexual harassment at my present work place I have also drafted the policy at the law firm I had worked before named as Gandhi & Associates https://www.gandhiandassociates.in/. I am updated with the laws, recent judgments and most importantly the issues being faced by the women in general and hence would like to contribute my bit by associating as an external member to the committee.
