Providing Support Services Against Sexual Harassment at the Workplaces has been the core area of Megha’s expertise. She supports workplaces in her capacity as an External Member, trainer and advisor on the Internal Committee across different sectors covering non-governmental organisations, manufacturing units and research based organizations. She has conducted multiple awareness sessions on prevention of sexual harassment at the workplace at various levels and been a part of inquiries into complaints of sexual harassment. Previously, she has worked with multinational organizations such as Aon Hewitt, International SOS and Willis Towers Watson where she has led the initiative of setting up gender inclusive workplace by setting up POSH & EDI committees and policies. Megha is a passionate people’s person who likes to connect and engage with people with varied demographic profiles and work with them as a team. She is a passionate quizzer and a very active social worker. In her spare time, she loves reading and spending time in community service. She is an alumnus of Lady Irwin College, Delhi University. Service Description :

1. Discharge functions as an External Member in the Internal Committee (IC) in accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. • Formulating/vetting the Policy/decks/communication against sexual harassment at workplace. • Preparation of board resolution or order in writing (for constituting a valid IC). • Assisting with preparation of annual reports to be submitted to concerned authorities. • Assisting with preparation of content for Organization’s annual reports. • Assisting with sharing IC constitution details with government departments (as applicable). • Providing legally compliant notices/posters. • Update IC through mailers on recent developments in the Law and procedure. • Assist the IC in conducting the inquiry proceeding if/when there is a Sexual Harassment Complaint. • Attend conciliation and/or inquiry proceedings as part of the IC in accordance with Law. • Guide, at all stages, the actions to be taken to ensure compliance with Law. • Send summons (emails/letters) to concerned parties for appearing before the IC. • Assist in preparing inquiry reports for each complaint. • Any other assistance that may be required for successfully conducting the inquiry. 2. Conduct orientation programme for the members of the IC (Optional) 3. Conduct awareness sessions for the employees (Optional).

Discharge of functions as an External Member on the IC as listed in the Description of standard list of External Member Services. Any out-of-pocket expenses in the nature of travel and boarding, conveyance, documentation and communication incurred in relation to these Services would be reimbursable at actuals and supported by appropriate receipts and all such major expenses shall require prior approval of the client.
